Aurevium Market Intelligence – Data Engineer Internship

What You’ll Do  

As a Data Engineer Intern specializing in web scraping, you will help develop solutions for processing large and unstructured data. Your primary responsibility will be extracting and ingesting data from websites using Compliance-approved web crawling tools. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience with:

- Creating web scraping pipelines based on business needs

- Developing tools, services, and workflows to improve efficiency and stability in data extraction

- Testing scrapes for accuracy, quality, and compliance

- Identifying and resolving scraping issues while scaling operations as needed

- Collaborating with compliance to ensure adherence to data usage policies

What’s Required  

- Bachelor’s degree (or expected completion in 2026) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

- Experience or strong interest in web scraping

- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.)

- Proficiency in Python development

- Interest in working with big data and cloud-based technologies

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
