About the Role  

We are seeking a Quantitative Developer to join a small, high-impact engineering team within the Central Research Technology Team at Ecliptic Systematic Strategies.  

In this role, you will work closely with systematic Portfolio Managers to build, operate, and evolve their technical stack. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements and developing solutions to enhance efficiency, shorten time-to-market, and improve existing platforms.  

As part of the team, you will directly contribute to the success of Portfolio Managers by providing technical solutions that drive systematic investment strategies. Responsibilities  

You will work on a variety of systems used in systematic investing and contribute to the development of a modular platform that addresses challenges such as:  

- Data pipelines

- Intraday signal research tools

- Mid and high-frequency trading & backtesting

- Real-time market data processing

- Technical and financial monitoring systems

- Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs)

- Data storage, time-series databases, and event correlation

Requirements  

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

- 2-5 years of experience in a technically demanding industry, such as:

- High-frequency trading

- Computer hardware

- Gaming

- Strong proficiency in C++

- Fluency in Python

- Linux administration skills

- Familiarity with:

- Computer architecture

- Databases

- Real-time systems

- Distributed computing

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

- Precise written and verbal communication skills

- Team player with a strong ownership mentality

- Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Compensation & Benefits  

- Annual base salary: $200,000 – $300,000 (USD)

- Discretionary bonus compensation
