What You’ll Do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for establishing and maintaining the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation platform to support Aureviums’s Software Engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions that enable rapid development, configuration management, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the development team to understand the solution architecture and build CI/CD pipeline templates

- Establish best practices for deploying on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure

- Integrate unit testing into the automated build pipeline

- Design scalable architectures that handle traffic spikes efficiently

- Work with internal developers, external partners, and service providers to ensure stability, reliability, and performance

- Automate releases using Terraform, Ansible, and shell scripts

- Enhance and optimize CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or TeamCity

- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS)

- Utilize AWS services to improve deployment efficiency and infrastructure management

- Support Databricks infrastructure and deployment

- Ensure test automation and integration into deployment pipelines

What’s Required

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Programming experience in Python, Java, C, C, C++, or Golang

- Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS

- Experience with build tools, such as make, Maven, or Gradle

- Strong knowledge of software configuration management and version control (Git preferred)

- Expertise in CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins (Groovy-based pipelines), GitHub Actions, GitLab, or TeamCity

- Experience troubleshooting build failures and assisting developers

- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS Cloud services

- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, and shell scripting

- Previous experience with Databricks

- Understanding of test automation strategies
