What You’ll Do

As a UI Developer in Macro Front Office Technology, you will be responsible for building best-in-class features, components, and applications essential for the visualization and interaction with real-time P&L, risk, and pre-trade analytics. Your focus will be on delivering high-performance, intuitive, and visually compelling interfaces across a broad range of asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new features and components for a React-based real-time application suite

- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams to create efficient and intuitive user experiences

- Optimize third-party libraries for maximum performance across a range of web-capable devices, including mobile

- Integrate real-time data streams and develop dynamic slicing, dicing, and visualization capabilities

- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback

- Contribute to architectural discussions to enhance the sophistication and scalability of the application suite

- Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience

What’s Required

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities, rigorous mathematical problem-solving skills, and experience in P&L and risk systems or other front-office development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience as a UI Engineer with a strong React-based project portfolio

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating frictionless, aesthetically satisfying user interfaces

- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

- Familiarity with real-time data processing and its integration into third-party visualization libraries

- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or RxJS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
