A Career with Aurevium's Operational Risk Team
The Operational Risk Team at Aurevium is responsible for the identification, monitoring, and reporting of operational risk across the Firm. The group, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, includes Operational Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, Corporate Insurance, and Third-Party Risk Management. We are looking for an experienced Third-Party Risk Associate to conduct operational vendor due diligence.
What You’ll Do
As a Third-Party Risk Associate, you will:
- Assist the Third-Party Risk Manager in developing and enhancing the firm’s Operational Due Diligence program, ensuring comprehensive, streamlined, and consistent vendor evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct thorough operational due diligence on third-party vendors.
- Manage the vendor risk lifecycle, from initial identification through remediation.
- Contribute to managing the third-party risk management system and assist in driving process automation and reporting improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers through regular communication.
- Support other team members on third-party risk-related tasks and projects.
- Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Procurement teams to manage risk effectively.
What’s Required

- 5+ years of experience working with external vendors.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A risk-focused and value-add approach to continuously improve processes.
- Strong relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to understand and address risks that are not immediately apparent.
- Excellent critical thinking skills to identify better ways of doing things, implement improvements, and adapt to shifting processes, priorities, and ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and resolve complex issues in an organized and efficient manner.
- An honest, direct, unbiased, and ethical approach to work.
- Intellectual curiosity to understand high-priority issues and achieve optimal outcomes.

Compensation
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 (USD), excluding discretionary bonus compensation and our comprehensive benefits package. The exact compensation will vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
