The mission of our Information Security team is to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive program that effectively protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Aurevium’s information assets. Our team is comprised of security professionals with expertise in a diverse range of security disciplines.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be hands-on, responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting network security solutions across the entire firm. You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, network, development, and business teams, contributing to a culture of innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead engineering and architecture for a range of network security solutions, including NDR (Network Detection and Response), NAC (Network Access Control), Always-On DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Network Firewalls (Palo Alto Networks), SASE/VPN, Web Browser Isolation, Zero Trust (ZTNA)/Network Segmentation, and related platforms.

- Manage advanced configurations and global architecture of Palo Alto Firewalls and Prisma Access SASE solutions to enhance secure remote access.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, implementing network security controls like access controls, encryption, and segmentation.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards like PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR by implementing policies, conducting audits, and collaborating with GRC teams.

- Conduct regular risk assessments of network infrastructure, including penetration testing and vulnerability management, and recommend remediation strategies with respective teams.

- Provide training on network security best practices to staff, including developing materials and conducting workshops to foster a security-first culture across the organization.

What’s Required

We are seeking a highly technical, proactive candidate with extensive expertise in networking and security. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to collaborate with engineering and development teams, aligning on security requirements, influencing decision-making, and effectively communicating strategy while protecting the company’s critical assets.

Qualifications include:

- 7+ years of experience in network security.

- Expertise in network security tools and technologies, including firewalls (Palo Alto Networks), IDS/IPS, WAF, NDR, SASE, and DDoS Protection.

- Demonstrated experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions such as Prisma Access, zScaler, or NetSkope.

- Advanced knowledge of network detection and response (NDR) platforms like Darktrace, ExtraHop, or Vectra, including deployment and management best practices.

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, including AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and associated security controls.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Annual Salary Range

The annual base salary range for this role is $225,000–$275,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
