Mid-Level Data Scientist – Aureviums Technology Team

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our Data Analytics team to automate key metrics and uncover actionable insights that support our business objectives.

What You’ll Do

As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in sourcing, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive informed decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automated reporting systems, build predictive models, and create meaningful visualizations. Specifically, you will:

- Develop and automate key business metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

- Source, clean, and integrate data from various internal and external sources.

- Perform statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to identify trends and insights.

- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

- Write and maintain efficient code in R and Python for data analysis and modeling.

- Document processes and methodologies to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

- Stay up to date with emerging trends in data science and analytics.

What’s Required

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in data science or a similar role.

- Proven expertise in automating metrics and data reporting in a business setting.

- Strong programming skills in R and Python, with experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.

- Proficiency in data manipulation using libraries such as pandas and numpy.

- Expertise in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, and seaborn.

- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
