P&L Reconciliation & Analysis Team at Aurevium

The P&L Reconciliation & Analysis team at Aurevium plays a critical role in ensuring that the profit and loss (P&L) from the firm’s front office systems (Panorama, Murex, and the Grid) aligns with our back-office records system (Geneva) across all portfolios. We monitor and resolve P&L discrepancies daily, monthly, and annually, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

What You'll Do

- Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliations between front office and back office systems for all portfolios.

- Collaborate with middle office, back office, and Valuations teams to address P&L discrepancies in equities, fixed income, and derivatives trades.

- Generate daily P&L variance reports.

- Finalize Portfolio Manager’s P&L in our Front Office systems, ensuring accuracy in variance checks, calculations, and analyses to inform decision-making, investor statements, and compensation processes.

- Respond to P&L queries from Portfolio Managers, traders, and Investment Services colleagues.

- Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for automation and eliminating inefficiencies.

What’s Required

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- A Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- 0-2 years of experience in product control or operations at a hedge fund or bank.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Collaborative attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and adjust to a dynamic environment.

- High attention to detail, delivering best-in-class standards.

- Familiarity with financial instruments.

- Previous experience with business intelligence tools or process automation is a plus.

- A strong commitment to ethical standards.
